My wife finally has an answer regarding the issues with her heart. She was able to see an electrophysiologist and this doctor finally gave an official diagnosis of Atrial Fibrillation. Good news and bad news, the good being that she has started a new medication and that it can be cured with a simple outpatient surgery. The bad is that her risk of having a stroke increases by 5% and that the left ventricle of her heart is enlarged. Please join us in prayer for this!
I also started up in Baraga Correctional Facility now. I am a volunteer in the maximum security side. At the time of writing this I have been there 3 times and all of those times went well! I was very well received both by the men and the Chaplain and staff of the prison. The guys for this service seem to love Jesus!
I have been continuing in Marquette Branch prison as well and the max security church service has now been changed to Thursday at 12:30- 1:30 pm Central time. The good news with this is that there was a service time on Thursday morning in Baraga that needed a volunteer so now I will be going to Baraga in the morning then Marquette for the afternoon and then back to Baraga on one of the Thursday a month. A lot for one day but praise God I always wanted to kind of do a circuit!
The services in Ojibway Correctional have been going good! One of the guys (who had gotten saved about 2 1/2 years ago) just was transferred. This man has been locked up for a total of 5 years so the guards saw how he acted before giving his life to Jesus and then after and all I ever heard was how much he changed. He became involved in every Christian thing he could and studied his Bible any time he could. God is in the life changing business and seeing Jesus change someone so dramatically is awesome! God is willing and able to change your life as well if you would let him!
