My dear wife started having heart palpitations and a super fast heart rate about 2 months ago now. She has been in the Emergency Room 4 different times and has had other tests done with no official diagnosis. Prayer for her is greatly appreciated! God knew that we needed help so He set it up that my in-laws would come up for a month and help. The plan was originally for them to come at the end of August but their plans changed and they called to let us know that they would come up much sooner the day before my wife went to the E.R. for the first time! With their amazing help we got done several projects around the house that my wife prayed to get done including painting almost every room, remodeling our bathroom, ripping out the carpet from our dining room which included sanding and refinishing the hardwood. We can't thank them enough for all the ways that they served us, I am truly blessed by having the best in-laws ever!
The same week my wife went to the E.R. my father had a seizure. He has never had them before and we still do not why he did now. My parents have not repented of their sin and do not have a relationship with Jesus yet so please pray that they would come to the Lord!
Through kind of crazy circumstances I was also approved to go into the local county jail. I have gone in a few times to meet with men who wanted to talk to a clergy volunteer. One man decided to give his life to the Lord so far! God is great!
Also along with Ojibway Correctional Facility and Marquette Branch Prison, I have been approved to go into Baraga Correctional Facility. I will be starting to go in on September 17th and will continue to do the 3rd Thursday of every month in the maximum security side. This may lead to more opportunities to serve the Chaplain and the men there, so please pray for God to move inside the hearts and minds of the men in those prisons!
Two other men and I have been planning an evangelistic outreach at the local college for about a month now. We are going to show a movie and hold Bible studies there. The first movie is "How great is out God" and it will be on September 25th. As of right now we do not know if CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ) is holding any meetings there because of lack of interest. It will definitely be interesting to see what God is going to do there! Please pray for God to move among the college students and for them to repent and have a real relationship with Jesus!
Throughout these busy months I have also been going into Marquette Branch Prison on Wednesdays. I go in the first, second, third and fifth Wednesdays now. As you may remember Wednesdays are the only protestant service in maximum security there. Out of the 500+ men only 10-14 come to service and out of those men, maybe 1-2 have a relationship with Jesus. Please pray for revival there!
I Also go to Ojibway Correctional Facility every Sunday for at least 2 services. On the 4th Sunday I am able to do 5-6 services! God is moving and men are repenting and coming to the Lord for salvation! Please continue to pray for revival to spread from them and into the communities which they will be going back too!
Thank you for your continued prayer and support!
