Last week Cain came home well after his doctor's appointment in Tampa and I asked him where on earth he had been. (It is not unusual for him to be gone for hours and I get all upset only to find out that he was giving the Gospel to someone.) He went on to tell me that he had met a Muslim couple in the waiting room at the doctors office. The husband had asked him what he was reading and Cain said, "An ancient text." The man said in a displeased voice, "Oh, you're a Christian." Cain said, "And let me guess, you guys are Muslims!" The wife was wearing a hijab, the traditional head covering. He said the conversation didn't go very well at first, but eventually the couple invited him over to their place for tea. So after the doctor's appointment he followed them to their house.
In their living room they two flags on the wall one an American flag and the other a Somalian flag. He also noticed they had their certificates stating that they were American citizens hanging on the wall of which they were very proud. They brought out the tea and started talking about ISIS. The man was upset at the violence of ISIS and said no where in the Koran does it say to kill people. Cain read a book over 11 years ago called "God Loves You My Muslim Friend" and remembered the exact sura where it talks about killing the infidels that won't convert to Islam. He asked to see their Koran and showed them what it said. That was a God thing! After that they seemed much more receptive to what Cain was saying. He was able to give them the Gospel. They didn't pray to receive the Lord, but they heard the Truth. Seeds were planted.
